Simen Agdestein

Simen was ranked highest at number 16 in the world as a chess player, but it was not easy to combine with an active career as a football player. The football, however, ended soon due to a knee injury, but at least he played eight International games for Norway. He scored his one national team goal during that time.

Simen graduated from the University of Oslo, but has spent almost all of his career on the chess line at NTG. It started in 1998, and his work is still continuing today. Magnus Carlsen is of course the most discussed of his students.

Anna Rudolf

Anna Rudolf is a Hungarian chess player, reporter and commentator who holds both the International Master and Woman Grand Master titles. She fell in love with chess through the computer game Battle Chess at the age of 4, and competed actively as a member of the Hungarian Olympic team up until 2016. Her main focus nowadays is to promote chess, and spread positivity, through all possible means she can: covering events, creating video lessons, streaming, blogging, vlogging, and being an all-around social media person. She collects hats, loves good food, dancing and the French Defense.
