This week, our team came together for a two-day workshop to work on the identity and direction of the Total Chess World Championship Tour. We also spent time planning next year’s Norway Chess, as well as the Total Chess pilot tournament coming in autumn 2026.

The days were filled with good discussions, new ideas, and a clearer sense of where we are heading.

On Wednesday, we rounded off the workday with a cozy Christmas dinner at the office – Norwegian Christmas food, tapas, and plenty of laughs. It was the perfect ending to an intense and productive week.

This marks a strong beginning for what’s coming. Several milestones lie ahead as we continue building the Total Chess World Championship Tour, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the project develops.
