Norway Chess 2025 is returning to SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge’s headquarters, Finansparken, in Stavanger from May 26th to June 6th, 2025. The distinctive venue, known for its innovative architecture and sustainable design, will once again host the world’s top chess players.

Finansparken provides an excellent environment for high-level chess competition. Its modern design and comfortable facilities have already proven successful in hosting previous tournaments, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to host Norway Chess 2025 at this venue.

Norway Chess Women Continues

The women’s tournament, which was successfully introduced in 2024, will return as an important part of Norway Chess 2025. SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge’s support has been instrumental in establishing this tournament, creating valuable opportunities for women in professional chess.
