Both Norway Chess and Norway Chess Women will feature a 6-player double round-robin format. For the second year in a row, Norway Chess Women will take place and offer an equal prize fund, continuing Norway Chess’s commitment to promoting gender equality in the sport.

Adding to the excitement is the Armageddon Format, ensuring a decisive result in every round. If a classical game ends in a draw, players will immediately compete in a high-pressure Armageddon game to determine the winner.
