May 30 to June 10, \u00a02022 marked the 10th edition of Norway Chess!<\/p>\n

As director Kjell Madland states in the video “we had a big goal from the beginning, and I am so happy to be where we are”. He was referring to years of challenging times such as the pandemic, oil crisis and financial crisis. Still we have managed to not only carry out the tournament in challenging times, but also to grow and develop. This shows that chess is growing and is getting more popular by the day.<\/p>\n We look forward to start working towards the 11th edition of Norway Chess which hopefully also will include a women’s tournament \ud83d\udcaa Video by Mattias Eriksson<\/a><\/p>\n
