The rest day was spent with Chess Chefs! HTH Norge<\/a> challenged them to a cook off in the kitchen of the Clarion Hotel Air. They were placed in teams of two and needed to prepare a fish dish following given recipes. Here were the teams:<\/p>\n

1- MVL – Levon Aronian<\/p>\n

2- Shahriyar Mamedyarov – Hikaru Nakamura<\/p>\n

3- Ding Liren – Vishy Anand<\/p>\n

4- Sergey Karjakin – Fabiano Caruana<\/p>\n

5- Wesley So – Magnus Carlsen<\/p>\n

In the end, and to the surprise of most players, The winners were Ding Liren and Vishy Anand! After some observation and tasting of their presented dish, the jury gave them the most points. Here are the final standings:<\/p>\n

4- team 2<\/p>\n
