Or perhaps you&#8217;re a parent of one?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Norway Chess is inviting middle schools from all over Rogaland to participate in a fantastic outdoor chess tournament on Friday 31st May. The tournament starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until approximately 3 p.m., taking place outside the old concert hall in Bjergstedparken, Stavanger.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the tournament is sustainability and education. The school tournament will be held outdoors with school teams, using large chess boards made of recycled rubber.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament is a collaboration with our Spanish sponsor <a href=\"https:\/\/neusus.com\/en\/\">Neusus Upcycling<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rmdsa.com\/en\/home-english\/\">RMD<\/a> based in Le\u00f3n, Spain, who have produced the large chess boards and pieces for the event.
